Native Gardening Services

Site Consultation (1 hour, $40 — waived if you book services)

Start here. I’ll visit your site (or connect by video) to learn about your goals, assess the landscape, and talk through realistic next steps. Whether you want a full transformation or just a few new plants, this sets the stage for a smarter approach. You’ll leave with a clear picture of what you’re working with and where to go from here.

Best suited for properties up to 1/4 acre. Larger properties — please contact me to discuss scope and pricing.

The $40 consultation fee (for up to one hour) is waived if you book management or coaching services within 30 days.

Garden Management

Stonecrop

General landscape maintenance. Open to smaller scale jobs (one hour minimum). Also great for native plant enthusiasts who don’t have time to do weeding and are looking for a professional who understands native plant care.

Note: These sessions are priced the same as garden coaching. No gas tools used.

Winter English Ivy Pull
(and other evergreen invasives)

Looking to improve your property’s ecosystem during the winter? I offer pulling English Ivy, Wintercreeper, Pachysandra, Liriope, and other invasives that are identifiable in winter.

Plant Purchasing Support

I carry a very small rotating stock of native plants (availability and pricing vary by season), but I can also help you find reliable sources and help you choose what’s right for your site.

Soil Texture Testing

Bee Balm

Hands-on soil texture test:

  • Indicates % of clay, loam, and sand which helps to identify the right plants for your location.
  • $30 per sample (I do it for you)
  • $15 DIY kit (includes jar, paper instructions, and chart. Does not include ruler)

Native Garden Coaching

A working session in your garden. Identify plants, tackle invasives, get new plants in the ground — and learn the why behind every decision so you can keep going on your own.

  • Hand tools only during coaching sessions.
  • Great for beginners, DIYers, and anyone who wants to learn by doing, or just garden with another gardener.
  • Example: time might be spent identifying and removing invasive species, or getting your new plant purchases into the ground.

Poison Ivy Control

Toxicodendron radicans

Removal and control of small and medium size patches of poison ivy for an additional fee.

  • Hand-control only (no herbicide use)

Non-Native Invasive Plant ID & Mitigation

Identification and control/removal of English Ivy, Non-Native Wisteria, Bush Honeysuckle, Wineberry, and more!

Remote Coaching

Can’t meet in person? I can still help.
Send photos or set up a video call to walk me through your space. This is a great option for folks outside my area or for follow-up questions between visits.
